Mom and daughter had their very first solo outing today and it went well. First they went to the post office, and then to Starbucks to pick up an emergency supply of coffee beans. (Rachel had a Starbucks gift card burning a hole in her pocket.) She finally understands what the purpose of the Starbucks drive-thru is-- so that parents can buy emergency beans without having to bring the baby and carseat into the store! Hurray.
